Who is changing the world?  Entrepreneurs are changing the world in practical and economically sustainable ways.  We call these change agents "social entrepreneurs."  A social entrepreneur has a compelling vision, a concrete plan to realize their ambitious goals, and the drive to make it happen.

How does Rinconada help make this happen?  Rinconada supports social entrepreneurs with financial assistance, usually in the form of low-interest loans, and hands-on management support to help turn plans into reality and to reduce the otherwise inherent risks.

Who are Rinconada social entrepreneurs?  Our social entrepreneur partners are committed to creating systemic social change and to pursuing economic self-sustainability.  They are catalysts for change in the areas of disability rights, education and the environment.  Current partners include The Mosaic Project, The Initiative for Learning Identities and IGNITE Innovations.

How can I help change the world?  As a nonprofit community-based foundation, we are dependent on the generosity of a multitude of donors at all levels.  We also rely on a growing network of advisors, business leaders and other collaborators.  These individuals and organizations inform our work and engage with us and our social entrepreneur partners so that, together, we can create sustainable social change.
