Donor Levels

As a publicly-supported organization, we depend on donations of all sizes from a multitude of donors.  We also appreciate multi-year commitments and recognize these donors as members of the Legacy Club.  Please consider giving at the highest level that is comfortable for you.

Founder: $25,000 +
Champion: $10,000 +
Visionary: $5,000 +
Leader: $1,000 +
Benefactor: $500 +
Partner: $100 +
Friend: $25 +

We plan to acknowledge our donors, according to level of giving, on this site in the near future.  Please let us know if you would prefer that your gift remain anonymous for this purpose.

Donations of stock make sense for many investors because of their unique tax-deduction benefits.  If you would like to donate stock, please contact us for information.

Donations of Time or In-Kind Goods or Services

One of the key ways we add value to our social entrepreneur partners is through provision of hands-on management support and referrals to appropriate experts and networks.  If you are interested in donating time and/or expertise to help Rinconada or any of our social entrepreneur partners, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact us with your interest and availability.  Please also let us know if you would like to contribute in-kind goods so that we can determine together how to make best use of your planned contribution.

• Many would-be social entrepreneurs are discouraged by the difficulty of finding and keeping funding, particularly at the start-up stage. By bringing together social entrepreneurs and new-style philanthropists, Rinconada aims to ensure that creative, talented, and committed people retain the ability to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways.

• Rinconada takes a venture capital approach to funding its entrepreneurs, emphasizing a longer-term partnership than traditional foundations typically offer. When these enterprises are able to generate a financial return from an infusion of capital and management support, a portion of that revenue returns to the Rinconada corpus to fund future enterprises.

• Through our board and staff, social networks, and pool of interested Rinconada donors, we are able to coordinate teams of volunteers that provide the management support necessary to ensure the long-term viability of Rinconada entrepreneurs. Rinconada will offer expert advice and support, in addition to capital investments, in the following areas:
